Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Conifer Health is seeking a Patient Access representative to support department efficiencies through registration, pre-admission, and admission activities. You will collect accurate demographic information and ensure compliant patient liability collection before, during, and after service.

You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and assist with scheduling and coordinating post-discharge care while delivering patient-centric service in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, complete full registration, and explain hospital forms.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and collect payments per policy.
• Verify insurance, benefits, eligibility and obtain authorizations for services.
• Coordinate post-discharge care and assist scheduling procedures.
