Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of typing, clerical work, or data-entry experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient service by collecting demographic and financial data.
• Verify and obtain insurance information for patients seeking care.
• Operate hospital front-desk equipment and computer systems.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain patient census and bed-control records as needed.
• Answer calls on the hospital switchboard and support patient safety announcements.
