Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Prefer 1–2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle, Patient Access or Centralized Scheduling in an acute care setting.
• CHAM or CRCS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information prior to the date of service.
• Analyze and resolve live quality metrics by modifying patient records in Medhost.
• Coordinate scheduling for Radiology, Surgery and other outpatient services.
• Obtain prior authorizations and verify medical necessity for scheduled procedures.
• Explain the scheduling process to patients and provider staff to manage expectations.
