Job summary

Native American Community Clinic seeks a Patient Support Coordinator to help patients register for the MyChart portal, troubleshoot access, and navigate insurance changes.

You will collaborate with care teams to reduce coverage disruptions, educate patients on Medicaid processes, and support IT/data tasks related to health insurance workflow changes, with a patient-centered, culturally respectful approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1-2 years healthcare, IT support, or customer service experience.
• Proficiency with EHR systems; Epic/MyChart strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, written and verbal; HIPAA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with MyChart sign-ups and health insurance assistance.
• Educate patients about Medicaid changes and enrollment requirements.
• Explain notices in patient-friendly language; provide outreach to at-risk patients.
• Track patient interactions and ensure privacy compliance in HIPAA contexts.
