Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in Business and/or Accounting or related field preferred.
• Two years of data entry or clerical experience with customer contact preferred.
• Three to six months in the role to become proficient.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain demographic and insurance information and authorization for billing.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect applicable co-pays.
• Document patient/grievance information in the customer service platform and escalate as needed.
• Answer the Tribal Option line and direct callers to appropriate staff.
