Job summary

AndHealth is seeking a Central Patient Engagement Specialist to join our Columbus, OH office. In this role, you will support medication access and adherence for patients in chronic disease programs, manage prior authorizations, collaborate with pharmacies, and connect patients with financial assistance programs.

You'll also handle pharmacy operations, coordinate transfers, and act as a patient navigator across providers to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Comfortable with technology and adapting to new systems.
• Based in Columbus; travel to AndHealth office as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help patients obtain access to specialty medications.
• Submit and track prior authorizations and appeals.
• Monitor patient adherence and reach out to patients/pharmacies.
• Coordinate with pharmacies on processing, fills, and deliveries.
• Connect patients with financial assistance and affordability resources.
• Notify providers of formulary restrictions and collaborate on adjustments.
• Escalate time-sensitive medication needs through appropriate channels.
• Route interventions to a licensed clinician.
