Job summary

AndHealth is seeking a Central Patient Engagement Specialist in Columbus, OH to help patients access specialty medications and manage adherence. You will coordinate with pharmacies, submit prior authorizations, and act as a patient navigator across multiple providers to ensure continuous access to care.

Ideal candidates have pharmacy experience, strong communication, and attention to detail, with willingness to travel to AndHealth offices as needed and to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician in OH required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred or willing to obtain post hire.
• Willing to obtain multi-state licenses if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in disease management programs to obtain and maintain access to specialty medications.
• Submit, complete, and track prior authorizations and appeals per clinical/insurance criteria.
• Proactively renew prior authorizations before expiration to avoid gaps in therapy.
• Monitor patient adherence through fill verification and outreach to patients/pharmacies.
• Serve as patient navigator, coordinating care across providers and services.
