Job summary

AndHealth LLC is seeking a Central Patient Engagement Specialist to support medication access, adherence, and care coordination from our Columbus, OH office. You will help patients obtain specialty medications, process prior authorizations, monitor adherence, and coordinate with pharmacies to ensure timely delivery and affordability.

The role requires experience in pharmacy operations, strong communication, and the ability to travel to AndHealth offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS certification obtained or willing to obtain.
• Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician in OH required.
• Nationally certified - PTCB or ExCPT preferred.
• Willing to obtain licenses in multiple states if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication access and adherence programs.
• Submit and track prior authorizations and appeals.
• Renew prior authorizations ahead of expiration.
• Monitor patient adherence and outreach to patients/pharmacies.
• Coordinate with pharmacies on processing, fills and deliveries.
• Connect patients with financial assistance programs.
• Notify providers of formulary restrictions and collaborate on changes.
• Escalate time-sensitive medication needs to clinicians.
• Route clinical interventions to licensed clinicians.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
• Collect and organize medical records and prescription documentation.
• Perform data entry and admin support for pharmacy operations.
• Coordinate prescription transfers into partner pharmacies.
• Serve as floater technician across sites as needed.
• Generate reports on new patients and adherence data.
