Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to oversee 24-hour operations, ensuring accurate registration, compliant encounters, and proper benefit verification.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years in Pre-service/Patient Access with leadership duties, and certification in HFMA CRCR, NAHAM CHAA/CHAM within one year of hire. Daily Pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years experience in Pre-service or Patient Access operations with supervisory responsibilities.
• National HFMA CRCR, NAHAM CHAA &/or NAHAM CHAM certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the 24-hour, daily operations of Patient Access.
• Coordinates and monitors staff services at all points of Patient Access.
• Ensures proper billing and demographic data collection for patient registration; verifies third-party benefits and pre-certifications.
