Qualifications

• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within one year of hire.
• Medical terminology required and knowledge of diagnostic & procedural coding.
• Insurance verification with the ability to explain benefits and secure necessary authorizations.
• Two plus years hospital registration or insurance verification experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient & inpatient registration and insurance verification functions.
• Collect patient financial liability payments and ensure financial requirements are met.
• Provide general information to patients, families, and physician offices.
