Job summary

Qualifications

• Skills in gathering and interpreting data in a physician office setting.
• Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment per policy.
• Experience entering patient insurance information into an EMR or practice management system.
• Experience collecting and documenting patient payments, including co-pays or self-pay.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival and guide them through visit steps.
• Assist patients with finding available appointments and PCPs.
• Enter patient insurance information into the EMR accurately.
• Collect and document patient co-pays per clinic policy.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Support clinic operations and team collaboration.
• Orient patients to clinic facilities and expected experience.
