Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network seeks a Patient Access Representative to oversee patient registration in outpatient and/or Emergency Department settings.

You will verify demographics, insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate with clinical and revenue-cycle teams to ensure accurate records and smooth check-in. Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong customer service and computer skills, and familiarity with electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• General computer experience and ability to type fluently, accurately, and quickly.
• Knowledge of health information systems (Epic) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and completely in hospital information systems.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and guarantor information during registration.
• Collect point-of-service payments and explain charges to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical and revenue cycle departments to ensure smooth patient experience.
