Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, manage the front desk, and handle incoming calls with professionalism. The role includes checking in patients, updating insurance information, and collecting payments, while ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance within a medical practice setting.

Travel to other clinics may be required. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, strong communication skills, and at least one year of healthcare office

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Professional interactions with patients, colleagues, managers and executives.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance in daily tasks.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Manages patient check-in and check-out process.
• Answers calls regarding appointment times and general inquiries.
• Reviews patient charts for accuracy prior to appointments.
• Verifies and updates insurance information; collects patient payments.
