Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is hiring for a Patient Access Supervisor to oversee the patient access/pre-access team, ensuring efficient workflows, staff performance, and alignment with revenue cycle goals. The role involves scheduling, KPI monitoring, and regulatory compliance, with emphasis on coaching and onboarding staff.

The incumbent will drive process improvements, partner with clients to optimize front-end operations, and support staff development while maintaining excellent service

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business field preferred
• Ability to lead/direct others; high degree of analytical ability; working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of patient access processes (registration, scheduling, verification, hospital billing)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all registration duties with direct and indirect reporting employees and provides training for staff
• Provides and reviews reporting to track department performance in key metrics (point of service, wait times, overtime, productivity)
• Assigns and coordinates staff schedule including rotation, time off, and call-offs while minimizing overtime
• Responsible for upfront collection process tracking and monitoring; sets goals and provides coaching
• On-call rotation including days, nights and weekends; may provide guidance and fill in during staffing gaps
• Assists with developing and auditing department processes, training, and continuous staff development
