Job summary

The role oversees daily patient registration workflows, drives policy implementation, monitors performance and bed utilization, manages the department budget, and provides HR leadership while collaborating with senior leadership and system-wide

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a healthcare setting with leadership experience.
• Experience leading Patient Access, Registration, or front-end Revenue Cycle teams.
• Strong knowledge of admissions, registration workflows and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing team performance, operations and workflows.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and leadership levels.
• Strong communication, organization and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Patient Access team, including Supervisors and front-line staff.
• Oversee daily operations for patient registration and admissions workflows.
• Coordinate team activities to maintain smooth patient flow and timely processing.
• Develop and implement policies related to admissions and billing audit processes.
• Evaluate workflows and performance, ensuring efficient patient processing and compliance.
• Maintain high standards of service across all department functions.
• Drive continuous improvement in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Manage department budget and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide HR leadership support, coaching and staff development.
• Represent Patient Access in meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
