Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to provide supervisory support to the patient access and administrative staff within an assigned unit. The role focuses on optimizing patient flow, scheduling accuracy, and coordination with the Practice Manager to meet organizational goals.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of medical practice experience, familiarity with EMR systems (eCW preferred), and strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years progressive experience in a medical practice (OBGYN a plus).
• Experience with EMR systems and knowledge of functionality; eCW a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance reimbursement.
• Ability to lead and manage a team and resolve conflicts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional and positive demeanor; dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient access and front office workflows to improve patient flow.
• Review online scheduling platforms and report inconsistencies to Practice Manager.
• Supervise and train administrative staff across locations (billing, front desk, scheduling, call center, medical records).
• Manage front desk check-in/check-out, call center metrics, and scheduling accuracy.
• Generate daily/monthly reports (scheduling, charges, payments) and analyze data.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and align with organizational policies.
