Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Lead to oversee the front office, appointment scheduling, call center and pre-registration areas across multiple locations. The role includes training staff, ensuring accurate patient data, collecting payments, and coordinating scheduling with authorization verification.

The ideal candidate will have experience in patient access within a medical office, solid understanding of EMR systems and strong communication skills to support a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of patient access experience in a medical office setting, preferably OBGYN
• Experience with electronic medical records and scheduling platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities for patient access staff across front office, scheduling, call center or pre-registration
• Ensure accurate patient demographics, insurance and eligibility data at pre-registration or arrival
• Collect co-pays and balances due; manage appointment scheduling and surgical scheduling with authorizations
• Provide training and feedback to staff; monitor call queues, online scheduling, and provider schedules
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and represent Women’s Care professionally
• Support workflows aligning with organizational strategic initiatives
