BJC HealthCare is seeking a Patient Access Lead to support all aspects of the Point of Service Collections process and pre-arrival workflows across hospitals. The role will mentor PAR I & II staff, coordinate onboarding, and ensure accurate insurance and financial liability entry in patient records.

The position involves on-call rotation every 5th weekend with 1-2 holidays per year and is based in the Belleville area.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in patient access or related roles.
• CHAA certification preferred.
• Associate's Degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide professional, patient-focused communication in person or by phone.
• Proficient in registration, authorization, and pre-arrival workflows; ensure HIPAA and related requirements.
• Conduct training, coaching and mentoring for PAR I & II staff as needed.
• Coordinate staffing and monitor productivity to meet departmental goals.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in patient access and support onboarding of staff.
