Competenze

• 3 years of experience in a hospital or medical business office

• Proficient typing/keyboard skills
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred

Mansioni

• Schedule patient appointments and enter information accurately.
• Verify demographics, insurance and financial information and obtain signatures.
• Explain forms to patients and obtain signatures.
• Ensure medical necessity compliance and obtain necessary data/signatures.
• Collect patient liability, arrange payments, review charity options and identify resources for reimbursement.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; ensure notifications and authorizations.
• Post payments and generate patient receipts.
• Monitor and resolve patient account issues; perform analysis and trends.
• Act as a team leader, supervise staff, and support orientation/training.
