Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Lead in Tampa, FL to act as the subject matter expert for the patient access team. You will guide front office staff, oversee scheduling and pre-registration processes, ensure accurate patient data, and manage payments and authorizations in a high-volume medical setting.

The role emphasizes training, coaching, and collaboration with supervisors to meet organizational utilization goals while maintaining compassionate patient service and HIPAA compliance.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of patient access experience in a medical office setting, OB/GYN a plus.
• General knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience working with an electronic medical records system, eCW a plus.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume and dynamic atmosphere.

Responsabilidades

• Leads and coordinates activities for all patient access staff assigned to front office, appointment scheduling, call center, or pre-registration areas.
• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Confirms patient demographic and insurance information is accurate during pre-registration or arrival.
• Collects and applies all patient co-pays, co-insurance, and balance amounts due.
• Schedules patient appointments in person, by phone, and online; verifies information for online scheduling.
