Job summary

Hanger Clinic in Walnut Creek seeks a Patient Access Coordinator to ensure a smooth patient experience at the front desk. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and handle registrations with accuracy.

Responsibilities include collecting payments, scheduling follow-ups, and coordinating with the Revenue Cycle Management team to maintain clean electronic health records and patient communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Talent Sorter assessment may be used in the selection process.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience required.
• Experience in receptionist role or medical front office preferred.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, provide information and manage inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details during check-in.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles and copays at the front desk.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate cast/measure and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and support patient experience programs.
