Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of customer service or healthcare experience.
• Experience with patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, or related healthcare processes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families while providing exceptional customer service
• Coordinate patient scheduling, registration, admissions, and check-in processes
• Ensure patient demographics, insurance information, and documentation are accurate and complete
• Verify insurance eligibility and help patients understand their financial responsibilities
• Support point-of-service collections and maintain accurate financial records
• Serve as a go-to resource for Patient Access processes, systems, and day-to-day questions
• Help onboard and train new team members while supporting ongoing peer development
• Troubleshoot registration errors, work queue issues, and escalated patient concerns
• Help coordinate staff assignments and coverage to keep operations running smoothly
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify opportunities for process improvement
