Job summary

AdventHealth Celebration in Florida is seeking a patient access specialist to support registration for clinical services and insurance verification. You will obtain pre-authorizations, enter demographic data, and ensure accurate scheduling and billing information, while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include communicating with patients and insurers, supporting case management, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and CMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• 1+ revenue cycle experience preferred.
• 2+ direct patient access experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with clinical partners and ensure open communication.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments.
• Enter accurate demographic and billing information in the system.
• Support on-call and assist with patient access tasks as needed.
