The role involves data entry, scheduling, and collecting payments at the point of service, with a focus on accuracy and patient communication.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication, MS Office skills, and experience with EMR/EPM systems, ideally with knowledge of CMS/HIPAA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with computers and medical office software is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review schedules and perform eligibility and benefits verification.
• Verify authorizations and pre-certifications to avoid denials.
• Enter data and meet accuracy standards and upfront collection goals.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to minimize delays in care.
• Explain charges and payment options to patients and collect payments.
