Job summary

AdventHealth is hiring a customer-focused professional to support Medicare compliance reviews, patient billing, and insurance verification in our Rome, GA facility. You will register patients, coordinate pre-authorizations, and help patients understand their financial responsibilities while providing excellent service.

This part-time role operates on the night shift, requires bilingual English/Spanish, and emphasizes accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and collaborative teamwork within a dynamic

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy rules.
• Experience with insurance benefits and billing processes.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and ABN notices as needed.
• Create patient financial responsibility estimates and collect payments or arrange payment plans.
• Coordinate with utilization management for pre-authorization issues.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations.
• Register patients accurately and minimize duplicate records.
• Provide excellent customer service and document conversations.
• Cover PBX and perform cashiering duties.
• Attend department meetings and provide coverage as needed.
