Job summary

Allegheny Health Network invites applications for a Patient Access role. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year related experience preferred.
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications.
• Medical terminology and insurance verifications preferred.
• Call Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts scheduling, preregistration functions, validates demographic data, and verifies benefits.
• Identifies payor requirements and provides documentation to physicians and payors.
• Identifies patient financial responsibilities and posts payments in the ADT system.
• Delivers positive patient experience and maintains relationships with AHN staff and external contacts.
• Maintains productivity and adheres to organizational policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
