The role requires exceptional multi-tasking, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Prior hospital/medical office experience and excellent customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of hospital or medical office experience required.
• Experience with insurance verifications required.
• Medical billing/coding experience is a plus.
• Must communicate professionally, verbally and non-verbally.
• Ability to manage time to meet high-paced demand.
• Genuine desire to improve the hospital and patient experience.
• Extreme multi-tasking ability.
• Strong medical terminology knowledge.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and coordinate care as part of the business office.
• Verify insurance and handle insurance-related inquiries.
• Provide financial counseling to patients.
