Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or representatives to obtain demographics.
• Secure insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations as applicable.
• Coordinate with Admitting department including PBX and reception areas; input and retrieve data on a computer.
• Communicate with diverse populations using age-appropriate techniques from neonatal to geriatrics.
• Maintain proficiency in medical terminology; complete special projects within set timeframes.
