Aufgaben

• Schedules patient appointments and conducts patient interviews to obtain demographic and financial information.
• Completes patient registration and related administrative functions, ensuring required signatures for billing/insurance.
• Enters laboratory and other diagnostic test orders into the computer system as directed by physicians.
• Performs end-of-day patient disposition activities and compiles relevant statistics.
• Greets patients on arrival and communicates their presence to staff.
• Serves as liaison among patients, nurses, physicians, and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Processes referral requests for all providers within the clinic module and ensures required referrals/authorizations are obtained when applicable.
