Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains clerical aspects of medical records per guidelines.
• Registers patients via data entry for new and existing appointments.
• Maintains patient scheduling and sets appointments per guidelines.
• Directs messages to appropriate personnel (electronic, in person, phone).
• Enters patient dispositions, diagnostic codes, orders, charges and payments in the EMR.
• Performs cashiering related to co-pays or patient payments; may perform routine clerical duties.
• Delivers excellent customer service to patients and families and participates in the care team.
