Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with common office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Performs registration/check-in, data entry, collects signatures, and provides intake forms.
• Verifies insurance eligibility; assists with pre-certifications, referrals, and authorizations.
• Calculates and collects patient liability; explains financial policies and available payment options.
• Enters payments/charges and performs daily reconciliation; balances cash drawer and prepares deposits.
• Schedules visits and procedures; confirms next-day appointments and ensures patients are prepared.
• Provides customer service via phone, email, or in person to support patient flow and care coordination.
• Responds to requests for medical records per policy and law; supports care team with documentation.

Education
