Qualifications

• Experience checking in patients and verifying demographics.
• Ability to read and interpret insurance responses.
• Knowledge of assigning primary/secondary/tertiary insurance per encounter.
• Ability to communicate financial obligations and collect fees.
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients and verify demographics.
• Notify patient of wait times and communicate changes.
• Process insurance responses and assign coverage levels.
• Obtain necessary signatures and disclose privacy information.
• Communicate costs and collect fees at point of service.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals as needed.
