Allergy Partners is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team. You will register patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, collect payments, and balance daily transactions in a fast-paced office. You will also prepare the office for the day and post charges and payments, following Allergy Partners policies.

This role requires excellent communication, accuracy, and a customer-service mindset; familiarity with EHR software is helpful, and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum two years in a medical office or customer service.
• Experience collecting payments and balancing a cash drawer.
• Familiarity with managed care terminology and practices.
• Experience scheduling and rearranging appointments.
• Proficient with email, word processing and Internet applications.
• Working knowledge of practice management and EHR software; GE Centricity is a plus.

• Answers the telephone professionally and schedules appointments.
• Screens visitors and responds to routine information requests.
• Maintains front office supplies and equipment.
• Verifies demographic and insurance information.
• Collects payments and provides receipts at the time of service.
• Balances daily transactions and prepares deposits.
• Closes the office each day according to protocol.
