The position emphasizes patient care, adherence to policies, and collaboration with multiple managers. Clinic locations vary by day, with rotating schedules across the two sites in Land O' Lakes and Zephyrhills.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Six months experience in a clerical office or customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments according to practice-specific scheduling protocols and patient preference, including pre-certification when required.
• Obtains accurate and complete patient demographic and insurance information.
• Processes requests for medical records according to Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Maintains compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates competency with office equipment and telephone calls.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction and professional interactions with patients and families.
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance per policies.
• Assists billing service as requested.
