Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Front Office Healthcare Support professional to ensure a safe, accurate, and welcoming patient experience from pre-arrival through checkout. You will verify patient identity and insurance, manage the front door flow, and handle payments at the point of service to support revenue integrity.

The role focuses on data quality, patient readiness, and effective queue management, with responsibilities spanning pre-visit prep, digital intake, and post-visit

Qualifications

• Proficient with scheduling systems to improve staffing levels.
• Knowledge of patient eligibility and benefits processes.
• Ability to manage front-desk workflows and patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Visit Preparation: Review the schedule 24–48 hours in advance to identify missing documentation, expired authorizations, or insurance gaps.
• Digital-First Intake: Facilitate patient check-in via digital tools, ensuring demographics, consents, and Patient-Ready signals are completed accurately.
• Queue & Wait-Time Management: Monitor waiting room and EMR task queues; communicate delays to patients and staff. Handle POS collections with accuracy.
• Exit & Outreach: Schedule follow-ups and manage outreach for no-shows or preventive care appointments.
