Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Patient Support Assistant to manage front desk communications and support the clinical team. You will handle calls, schedule and register patients in Epic, and assist with obtaining prior authorizations and records to ensure seamless patient visits.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of administrative/customer service experience, and EPIC familiarity with a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years in administrative/customer service preferred
• EPIC knowledge and experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk and waiting area communication to move patients through visits and support the clinical team
• Answer all incoming department calls per NorthShore standards and document in Epic telephone encounters
• Use Epic to schedule and register patients for multiple providers/sites/services
• Obtain prior authorizations, records, and orders to ensure seamless patient arrival
• Familiarize with physician preferences, availability, and visit types
• Provide other administrative support under Physician and Practice Manager guidance
