Job summary

Day shift, full-time position with competitive hourly pay; responsibilities include scheduling, obtaining authorizations, and assisting the practice team to ensure smooth patient experiences in a busy ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of administrative/customer service experience preferred.
• EPIC knowledge and experience preferred; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk and waiting area communications to move patients through visits.
• Answer department calls from patients, physicians, and other departments per standards and document in Epic.
• Use Epic to schedule and register patients for multiple providers/sites/services.
• Obtain prior authorizations, records, and orders as needed for seamless arrival.
• Familiarize with physician preferences, availability, visit types, and protocols.
• Provide other administrative support under Physicians and Practice Manager.
