Job summary

Forefront Dermatology in Cumming, GA is seeking a Patient Service Representative to manage front-desk duties, verify insurance, check-in patients, and handle a multi-line phone system in a fast-paced dermatology clinic.

This 32-hour/week role runs Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM with Fridays off or as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma and 1+ year medical office experience; derm experience preferred; strong customer service and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of recent medical office experience preferred.
• Medical assistant with derm experience is preferred for dual PSR/MA duties.
• Proficient in basic computer functions and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Performs opening/closing clinic duties and maintains reception area tidiness.
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products and distributes mail.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and manages EHR tasks.
