Job summary

Endeavor Health in Des Plaines, IL, seeks a Patient Support Assistant for the Internal Medicine practice. You will answer calls, schedule with Epic, obtain prior authorizations, and support physicians and staff in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical assisting program preferred.
• 1–2 years in an administrative/customer service role; EPIC knowledge preferred.
• Experience with high-volume calls and scheduling in a medical setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from patients, physicians, and departments per standards.
• Use Epic to schedule/register patients and coordinate with physician availability.
• Obtain prior authorizations for procedures.
• Review provider templates and assist practice managers.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.
