Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in understanding hospital charges, insurance coverage, and available financial assistance programs.
• Evaluate patients' financial situations and guide them through the application process for Medicaid, charity care, and other assistance programs.
• Collaborate with the billing department, case managers, and social workers to optimize financial solutions for patients.
• Explain billing statements, answer patient inquiries, and address discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation of patient interactions.
