Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent
• Two years of related experience in medical/financial services or customer service preferred
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduling and preregistration functions, validates patient data and benefits
• Verifies insurance information through payor contacts or e-verification and handles authorizations/referrals
• Identifies patient financial responsibilities, estimates, and collects balances in ADT system
• Delivers positive patient experience and collaborates with AHN leadership, staff and external parties
• Maintains productivity, adheres to policies, and supports colleagues with training and issue resolution
