Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a professional attitude.
• Interview patients to collect demographic, financial and insurance data.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for inpatients and outpatients.
• Register patients and coordinate pre-certifications and admissions as needed.
• Explain financial policies and arrange payment plans when appropriate.
• Use registration systems to post transactions and maintain records.
