Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedules / pre-registers patient including demographic and insurance information.
• Financially clears patients by verifying insurance and benefits.
• Contacts insurance companies daily for authorization/notification and verification.
• Calls patients to advise on deductible or co-pay due at appointment.
• Coordinates with internal and external administrative liaisons and clinics.
• Ensures POS cash is collected and posted per department guidelines.
• Refers patients with financial issues to the financial counselor when needed.
• Coordinates with Patient Support Specialists and other clinic departments.
