Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years formal education or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years' work experience in customer service, healthcare or business-related field.
• Excellent people skills and ability to communicate clearly with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients and families to testing and surgical areas in a courteous manner.
• Register patients by obtaining/verifying required information in the registration system.
• Explain procedures and hospital environment clearly to promote patient understanding.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical information and keep areas orderly.
• Support department communications and adapt to daily workflow changes.
