Job summary

The PromptCare Companies, Inc. seeks a Patient Services Coordinator to join our team in New Providence.

You will handle infusion benefit verifications, authorizations, EMR note creation, and communication with patients, physician offices, and the sales team to process auth requests efficiently. The ideal candidate has healthcare exposure, strong communication, and familiarity with CPR+ or Caretend; EMR systems and payer portals experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication, written and verbal, across colleagues and providers.
• Experience with CPR+ and Caretend is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Benefit verification for insurance and therapy changes.
• New authorizations under new plans and for drug/dose changes.
• Update payor information in CPR/Caretend and ensure correct payor on orders.
• Monthly verifications and EMR data entry tasks.
• Handle urgent/same-day requests and maintain inter-department communication.
• Experience with prior authorizations and infusion therapy preferred.
• Clinical office administrative duties and payer portal familiarity.
