Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of demonstrated customer service excellence in a contact center preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience with medical terminology preferred.
• Previous experience with electronic medical record (EMR) preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; focused on compliance and quality-driven service.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls and schedules, reschedules, or cancels appointments within set protocols.
• Verifies and updates patient demographic and insurance information.
• Builds positive patient experiences and resolves issues during calls.
• Manages referral work queues and prioritizes patient needs during high volume times.
• Escalates scheduling or insurance issues to supervisor or manager as needed.
• Works with clinical partners to maintain appointment scheduling protocols.
