St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Patient Liaison to initiate patient flow on arrival and support compliant operations under managed care contracts and CMS guidelines.

The role requires coordinating face-to-face patient interviews, promoting teamwork among the healthcare team, and ensuring accurate charge integrity in the revenue cycle while upholding the hospital’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle is preferred.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face interviews and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face interviews with patients to initiate flow and ensure accurate information for clinicians and billing.
• Process patient accounts in accordance with departmental policies and CMS regulations to maintain charge integrity.
• Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team and support St. Luke’s mission and values.

Position Summary

Acts a patient liaison upon arrival to initiate patient flow and operations necessary to comply with managed care contracts and CMS regulations. Conducts face to face interview with patient to achieve successful clinical outcome and maintain charge integrity in clinically driven revenue cycle. Processes patient accounts in accordance with the departmental and institutional policies and procedures. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values..
