Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience, required.
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and family members and obtain/verify demographic, clinical, financial and insurance information during registration.
• Enter patient/guarantor information in the patient accounting system and collect signatures on forms.
• Process signed physician orders and perform online insurance eligibility/benefit verification on designated cases.
• Notify patient/guarantor of liabilities and refer appropriate cases to financial counseling for follow-up.
• Provide escort and directional support to patients, family members, and visitors as needed.
