Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Trainer I to implement and sustain education programs for Patient Access users across our health system. You will develop materials, conduct classroom and on-the-job training, and work under the Patient Access Director to align resources with strategic goals.

You will resolve EHR discrepancies, provide targeted coaching, participate in meetings with application teams, and assist with testing and deployment of upgrades.

Qualifications

• 2 years hospital/healthcare experience in Patient Access.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, billing/insurance, and performance improvement.
• Prior training experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and mainframe computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain training materials and conduct formal classroom and on-the-job training.
• Investigate and resolve EHR discrepancies.
• Provide targeted one-on-one training to address performance deficiencies.
• Attend meetings with application teams and document processes.
• Assist with testing plans for new releases and updates.
• Support deployment of application upgrades and new technologies.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust content.
• Collaborate with teams affected by mid-cycle changes to ensure consistency.
• Support credit card devices across the health system.
• Identify training opportunities from patient access work queues.
• Other duties as assigned.
