Catholic Health Initiatives in Bryan, TX is seeking a patient access clerk to perform registration across ED and main registration areas, verify demographics and insurance, and support scheduling and inquiries. You will use multiple systems to ensure timely, accurate patient data capture and a smooth patient experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required at hire.
• 1 year healthcare or patient access experience preferred.
• Knowledge of patient registration procedures and insurance eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient registration across ED and main access points.
• Verify demographics and insurance before billing and scheduling.
• Scan, index, and manage patient documents in the EHR.
• Explain patient financial responsibility and collect payments when appropriate.
• Schedule and adjust patient appointments to fit provider workflows.
• Provide patient-facing support via phone or other channels.
